Getting Started with Computers and Keyboarding
PowerUP! Getting Started with Computers and Keyboarding prepares students with the applied computer basics and keyboarding skills needed for computer-based test-taking, college classes, and the 21st Century workplace. The program can be used on its own, or paired with Common Core Basics or Common Core Achieve, to create a complete solution for 2014 exam preparation.
The program includes instruction on topics such as powering on a computer, navigating with a mouse, creating documents in word processors and spreadsheets, using email and the Internet, and includes a full theme on computer-based test taking best practices—including new item types needed for the 2014 GED® Test.
